After defining the problem(s), not just the symptoms
(i.e., tight cash flow), we work side by side with our clients setting realistic goals, creating plans of action, and insuring their effective implementation. Additionally, BDW works with banks, asset based
lenders, and other financial institutions, lenders and investors to turn their clients into strong industry competitors
, find new financing sources, and/or monitor and help protect their clients' assets.
BDW also maintains strategic alliances with organizations having complementary skills. These alliances, along with a strong network of
relationships with various professional firms, gives our clients ready access, as needed, to specialized industry and/or functional expertise to fully meet the challenges of turning our clients into industry leaders.
Current assignments for clients include:
- Working on the divestiture of one business while, at the same time, working on the purchase
of an increased ownership of another business;
- Product line expansion along with corresponding production expansion capabilities;
- Handling the negotiations with creditors and landlords;
- Reviewing and advising on a turnaround business plan
to submit to the client's bank, discussing same with their lender, and lining up alternative financing; and
- Expert witness in a case concerning asset based lending.
BDW has worked as a consultant to various companies in various industries, including, but not limited to, the following industries: apparel,
textile, agriculture (growing, packing, shipping, and processing), construction, defense manufacturing, distribution, water bottling, and freight forwarding and courier service.
